Job Summary
Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team across Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Structural and Architectural disciplines to deliver reliable, efficient Facilities and Infrastructure performance in Boeing’s Midwest sites. Provide technical leadership, mentor and develop engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to address complex challenges spanning Operations, Maintenance, Reliability and Capital/Project execution. Develop and continuously improve processes, secure and allocate engineering resources, manage supplier technical performance, and drive improvements to execution. Build partnerships with customers and peers to support successful outcomes; review and approve technical approaches to ensure quality, compliance and alignment with business needs. Participate in make-or-buy evaluations and provide technical oversight of suppliers. Coach and motivate employees to strengthen technical capability and career growth. Support reliability, asset management, capital planning, and adoption of improved digital platforms. Requires travel up to 25% and on-site leadership in Hazelwood, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science (or greater) in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or other technical degree
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role OR completed Boeing internal leadership course (Exploring Leadership)
- Experience with Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems
- Experience with oversight of budgets and financial data
- Financial acumen and ability to travel up to 25% domestically
