Job Summary
The Facility and Equipment Maintenance Technician is crucial for maintaining CNC machinery and supporting manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing light repairs, and ensuring facility upkeep to promote operations efficiency and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years of related experience and/or training
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions
- Physically capable to stand for extended periods and lift/move 55 lbs
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Competent with basic math and computer skills
- Ability to drive a lift truck and/or pass the Powered Industrial Lift Truck Program within (45) days of hire
- Willingness to multi-task
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration systems
- Electrical experience (single phase and three phase)
- Light plumbing experience
- Machine tool repair / maintenance
- Abrasive waterjet repair / maintenance experience
- Experience with chillers, dust collectors, air compressors, HVAC systems
- Personal tools
- Welding experience (mig and tig)
