Job Summary
The Administrator is responsible for the overall daily management and operation of the clinic, leading quality and performance initiatives, and coordinating clinical and operational processes. Responsibilities include planning patient scheduling and staffing, achieving financial targets, leading QAPI meetings and quality improvement committees, ensuring compliance with federal/state/local regulations, maintaining documentation and records, coordinating department functions, and supervising staff and patient care activities. May assume Charge Nurse duties or designate an RN as needed; may fulfill responsibilities of facility CEO as delegated by the Governing Body; focuses on patient outcomes, safety, equipment maintenance, and strong collaboration with Medical Director, physicians, and the community. Must possess RN licensure and related nursing experience in kidney-care settings, with CPR certification and strong leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- 1 year previous dialysis management experience preferred
- Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire
- Must meet applicable state requirements (see addendum for Administrator)
- Must be full-time employee and available during clinic hours
- Current RN license in applicable state and in good standing
- 18 months as an RN with 6 months experience in nursing care of a patient with kidney failure
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
