Job Summary
Operate and maintain liquid industrial wastewater and industrial water systems while troubleshooting issues related to ion exchange, ultrafiltration, UV systems, and heat exchangers. Serve as a subject matter expert in water analysis, managing laboratory calibration, inventory, and coordination with third-party analytical partners to obtain sample results. Prepare technical reports for diverse audiences, oversee sampling and analysis budgets to identify cost savings, and implement methods to improve accuracy and turnaround times. Maintain Plan of Record documentation, write and review standard operating procedures, and ensure compliance with environmental standards. This role supports Intel's manufacturing operations in Phoenix, Arizona, focusing on sustainability, efficiency, and operational excellence within the Facilities team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in water/waste treatment
- Experience with water treatment systems such as ion exchange, ultrafiltration, pH Control and UV systems
- Knowledge of environmental compliance standards and regulations
- Experience with analytical instruments used in water quality analysis
- Master's degree in chemical engineering or related field (alternative to Bachelor's with experience)
- On-site presence
