Job Summary
Facilities Technician responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of mechanical and electrical building services on a pharmaceutical facility in Cork. Plan and schedule mechanical and electrical building services maintenance and building fabric tasks; frontline maintenance and troubleshooting; manage and liaise with subcontractors on site; ensure requests are resolved in collaboration with building personnel; complete site documentation and RAMS; maintain maintenance records in the CMMS; ensure compliance with GMP; participate in area audits and drive maintenance performance KPIs (spares cost, planned vs corrective maintenance, maintenance hours per equipment, MTBF, reliability trends); require Senior Trades with City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical engineering and at least 5 years of related experience; proficiency with HVAC, pumps, boilers, chillers, electrical distribution, building management systems, P&IDs, and related documentation; capable of working within a team or independently and communicating effectively; must have right to work in Ireland for EU/EEA nationals or permission to work for non-EU/EEA nationals.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical engineering
- 5 years minimum experience in mechanical/electrical facilities maintenance
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations
- Ability to read and understand P&ID’s
- Experience with CMMS and building services systems
- Experience coordinating sub-contractors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
