Job Summary
Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment, perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, generators, and ventilation systems, and handle everyday repairs and installations on site. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to correct them, repair machines or structures as necessary, and oversee contractors when professional servicing is required. Move gaming machines and tables while maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment. Available weekends for rotating shifts from 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual French and English
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid work permit or be a Canadian resident
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly as required
- Proven experience in a similar role (maintenance repairs in plumbing, electrical, painting and minor renovations)
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
- High degree of competency using common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, etc.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
- Experience performing routine maintenance
- Strong organizational and follow up skills, detail-oriented
- Professional presentation and attitude
- Ability to maintain focus while working autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be available weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Related degree from a technical college
