Job Summary
Maintains and repairs HVAC support equipment and facilities systems (including chillers, boilers, RO/DI systems, pumps, piping, and plumbing) across an Akoustis facility; performs inspections and repairs of interior/exterior areas; installs and maintains plumbing and mechanical systems; reports on critical facility equipment; conducts disassembly, inspection, cleaning, troubleshooting, reassembly, and testing of pumps and other mechanical equipment; ensures hazardous waste disposal in compliance with regulations; requires a high school diploma or equivalency and 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience; 100% onsite at Canandaigua, NY; after training, shifts include C-Shift (6 PM–6 AM) and D-Shift (6 PM–6 AM) with 15% shift differential; starting schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Mon–Fri); ITAR-compliant environment with SpaceX/Starlink/Akoustis affiliation; competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
