Facilities Technician St Lucia

Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repairs to buildings, grounds, and facility systems across assigned trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC. Manage redundancy systems like water pumps and generators, coordinate with vendors for critical system efficiency, and conduct routine inspections to address issues proactively. Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory while responding to urgent needs and remaining on-call for emergencies. Support site safety, security systems, and severe weather readiness, completing required reporting and additional duties as assigned. Be prepared to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, small engine mechanics, HVAC and custodial
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working in emergency or high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Proficient in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Be prepared to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel
