Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technician at InterMed responsible for safe, secure, and environmentally sound operation and maintenance of InterMed buildings. Coordinate or perform maintenance in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, or electrical to maintain efficient operations; transport equipment, furniture and supplies; monitor scheduled maintenance; adhere to safety and security protocols; utilize facilities ticket system to respond to, complete and close tickets; contribute to HIPAA compliance; support mission and values; collaborate with facilities manager and senior management; flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Facility maintenance experience or equivalent
- Computer skills including tablet use, e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Excellent analytical ability and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with a diverse group of staff and physicians
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to follow instruction and perform tasks in a timely manner without direct supervision
