Job Summary
Execute work order service requests for the branch maintenance department, performing preventive maintenance and overseeing service contractors. Manage routine tasks including housekeeping, grounds maintenance, and gate upkeep. Conduct electrical repairs such as lamp changing and fixture installation, alongside plumbing work like pump and fixture replacements and drain cleaning. Perform heating, ventilating, and air conditioning maintenance, and handle basic mechanical repair on forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks. Complete general building repairs including painting, wall, and floor restoration. Requires broad skills in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical trades with high aptitude. Full-time position in McKinney, TX, offering competitive hourly pay and quarterly bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Broad skills in various building trades (I.E. plumbing, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
- Broad mechanical aptitude
- Diagnostic capability
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment
- Must be able to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors, and vendors
- Must be able to remain flexible with work schedule to accommodate changing facility needs
