Job Summary
Perform daily custodial duties across offices, staff areas, and public spaces, including sweeping, pressure washing exterior hardscapes, and maintaining landscaped grounds through pruning and trimming. Operate laundry equipment for pickup and delivery, assist with donation logistics, and relocate furniture or set up temporary events as requested. Execute general facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, basic carpentry, and minor mechanical repairs while supporting other departments on assigned projects. Secure the campus by managing entry/exit protocols and maintaining exterior doors, ensuring all safety systems and fire equipment remain operational. Adhere to OSHA regulations and internal protocols for chemical usage and equipment operation, participating in disaster recovery preparations and correcting safety noncompliance immediately.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- ability to read and write English
- ability to perform basic math
- Valid CA driver's license
- insurable driving record
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of custodial methods
- basic handyman ability
- Proven ability to complete projects in a timely manner
- Basic computer skills in a Windows environment

- Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds
