Job Summary
Facilities Technician needed to provide general maintenance for store locations across the Salt Lake City area, including minor plumbing, light ballasts, door knobs, carpentry (sheetrock, painting), and upkeep of tanning and UV spray booths. The role involves coordinating with store operations staff and vendors, traveling to locations from a home base, and working nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Requires 2 years of maintenance/construction experience, basic building maintenance knowledge, ability to manage multiple projects, independent work capability, strong customer service, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project), and a valid driving record. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience with maintenance and constructions required (multi-unit experience preferred)
- Basic understanding of building maintenance systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work independently
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and some overtime based on business needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency is Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project
- Excellent driving record (driving record check required)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
