Job Summary
Facilities Technician responsible for providing general maintenance to store locations in the Austin area, repairing items (plumbing, light ballasts, door knobs), maintaining tanning and spray booths (training provided), performing general carpentry (sheetrock repair, painting), and collaborating with store operations staff and vendors. Requires driving, multi-unit maintenance experience, ability to work independently, strong customer service, willingness to work nights/weekends/holidays/overtime, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project). Day starts from home with travel to locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience with maintenance and constructions
- Basic understanding of building maintenance systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work independently
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and some overtime
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
