Job Summary
Facilities Technician needed to provide general maintenance for store locations in the Salt Lake City area. Responsibilities include repairing plumbing, lighting, door hardware, carpentry, sheetrock repair, painting, and maintaining tanning booths and UV-free spray booths (training provided). Coordinate with store operations staff and vendors. Requires 2 years’ maintenance/construction experience, ability to handle multiple projects, strong communication, valid driving record, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and some overtime. You start from home and travel to locations as needed within the area; proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience with maintenance and constructions required (multi-unit experience preferred)
- Basic understanding of building maintenance systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work independently
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and some overtime based on business needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project
- Excellent driving record (driving record check required)
- Proficiency in communication (verbal and written)
- General carpentry including sheetrock repair, painting
- Repairing general items such as minor plumbing, light ballasts, door knobs, etc
- Maintaining tanning booths and UV free spray booths (training provided)
