Job Summary
Facilities Technician responsible for completing basic and preventative maintenance tasks under the Facility Manager, maintaining records and inventory, coordinating with users and contractors, and ensuring a safe, clean work environment. Demonstrates safety focus, dependability, reliability, initiative, teamwork, and the ability to follow directions and use hand and power tools. Typical duties include assembling equipment, reading schematics/maintenance manuals, responding to work orders, may assist with minor renovations, and upholding operational standards in a Monday–Friday, 40-hour week with potential overtime. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in facilities or a related field (experience can be substituted for relevant technical training)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Satisfactory completion of additional background screening (if applicable)
