Job Summary
Develop and implement initiatives to increase access, use, and effectiveness of Fleet and Facilities programs. Act as a subject matter expert to staff, management, volunteers, and external partners. Manage a vehicle fleet, ensuring all vehicles remain up to date on recommended maintenance. Develop and execute facilities maintenance strategies, including preventative and corrective maintenance, fleet reporting, and analysis. Provide leadership guidance to volunteers and may directly supervise full-time and part-time volunteers. Collaborate with Volunteer Services to recruit and train assigned volunteers. Monitor, analyze, and provide consultation of regional fleet and facilities budgets. Enforce organization safety policies and regulations related to fleet and facilities management. Maintain active professional relationships with key internal and external partners or vendors. Drive vehicles to other locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to develop project plans and budgets
- Demonstrated ability to create presentations and training modules
- Applicable local licensure if required by state directives
- A current valid driver's license and good driving record
- A current, valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work in a small cubicle
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time
