Job Summary
Conduct routine inspections, periodic checks, and troubleshooting of facility and compounding equipment to restore proper operation. Perform industrial electrical work, welding, soldering, brazing, plumbing, and carpentry repairs while operating shop and powered industrial equipment safely. Read blueprints, manuals, and SOPs to complete corrective actions, order parts, and accurately document all maintenance activities. Adhere to FDA GMP, OSHA, and company safety procedures, including wearing required PPE. Work overtime and weekends as needed to support production demands.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of facility maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage time effectively
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including SOPs and Work Instructions
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds manually
- Stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, crouch, push, and pull
- Reach with hands and arms and use hands to handle and feel
- Hear and communicate effectively
- Spend periods of time working at a computer
- Wear required PPE and uniform standards, including a hairnet, safety glasses, long pants, and steel-toe shoes/boots
- Work overtime and weekends as needed to support business and production demands
