Job Summary

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, VAVs, AHUs, exhaust systems, chillers, and boilers. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues while monitoring building systems for efficiency, safety, and occupant comfort. Respond to work orders and service requests promptly, maintaining accurate records in the CMMS and coordinating vendor oversight. Execute general facilities maintenance tasks such as lighting, doors, ceilings, and minor carpentry. Travel to additional company sites as needed and participate in an on-call rotation. Requires 4-6 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to adjust schedules including occasional weekends.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience as a Building Engineer, Facilities Engineer, or HVAC Technician
  • Strong hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Experience using CMMS systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, rooftops, and in confined spaces
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed, including occasional weekends

Desired Qualifications

  • EPA Universal Certification
  • HVAC trade school or technical certification
  • Experience supporting commercial office, lab, or industrial facilities
  • Familiarity with BAS/BMS systems (Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, etc.)
  • Additional HVAC or energy management certifications
