Job Summary
Facilities Technician III performs maintenance across building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), wood refinishing, painting, and repairs to plumbing, HVACR, mechanical, electrical, and kitchen equipment via work orders or management requests. Responsibilities include assisting with basic maintenance on building systems, conducting routine inspections, preventive maintenance, responding to repair requests, maintaining clean work areas, and collaborating with senior technicians to develop troubleshooting skills. Requires open availability including nights, weekends, holidays; HS diploma or equivalent; valid US driver’s license; ability to lift 40 pounds; use of hand/power tools; strong communication and teamwork; ability to work under pressure and in a flexible schedule; professional appearance and customer-service orientation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Must have open availability, to include nights, weekends, holidays, and be able to work without direct supervision
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in a facilities environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds
