Facilities Technician II

Job Summary
Schedule, coordinate, and oversee outside service providers for routine corrective and preventative maintenance tasks on building systems, utilities, and equipment. Perform routine inspections of facilities and machinery to identify wear, leaks, or abnormalities before they escalate, while maintaining documented records of all activities per approved SOPs. Execute emergency troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, and lab equipment, responding to alarms and power outages with a clear understanding of emergency response procedures. Support verification and maintenance of process flow diagrams and one-lines, ensuring all work adheres to GMPs and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality control teams to prioritize tasks and resolve issues quickly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma with technical certifications or vocational training
- Equivalent on-the-job or military technical experience
- Minimum of 2-6 years of Project/Facilities Engineering experience
- Experience working as a General Contractor, Construction Manager, or Subcontractor
- Facilities background
- Process Equipment experience
- CAPEX experience
- GMP cleanroom experience
- Demonstrated understanding of facility systems, utilities, and equipment
- Strong collaboration, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Close vision and the ability to adjust focus
