Job Summary
Facilities Technician II to maintain and repair facility systems in a high-tech radar manufacturing and engineering environment, including HVAC, electrical distribution, cleanroom-related systems, RF shielded rooms and lab ventilation, calibration support for precision electronics, CMMS-based maintenance tracking, and coordination with engineers and contractors to minimize downtime and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Facilities Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–6 years of experience in facilities maintenance in a high-tech manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems with tight environmental tolerances
- Electrical systems, including clean power and backup systems
- Mechanical systems supporting lab and manufacturing operations
- Experience using CMMS systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex, precision environments
- High attention to detail in temperature, vibration, and electrical-noise sensitive environments
- Ability to prioritize work that directly impacts engineering and production schedules
- Effective communication with engineers, technicians, and leadership
- Strong safety mindset and adherence to compliance requirements
