Job Summary
Maintain building and property by performing routine repairs, painting, and maintenance activities. Replace HVAC and smoke eater filters, remove snow, ice, and debris from entrances, and maintain exterior grounds and parking lot cleanliness. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks while communicating inventory supply status to management. Notify management concerning any repairs, equipment malfunctions, or security, environmental, and health and safety concerns. Work a day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with weekends and holidays required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)
- one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training in property maintenance in hotels or apartment complexes
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, reach, stoop and stand for extended periods of time
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures
- Weekends & Holidays Required
