Job Summary
Facilities Technician position in Cambridge, MA focusing on painting, drywall, window repairs, door and hardware work, plumbing fixtures, grounds keeping, snow removal, property inspections, and on-call emergencies. Requires a High School Diploma, 2+ years in property maintenance/janitorial/building trades, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, valid MA driver’s license and own vehicle, and bilingual Spanish/Haitian Creole. Rotation for on-call weekends; duties include move of furnishings, donation pickups, and completing work orders with attention to safe, cared-for properties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two or more years’ experience in property maintenance, janitorial and/or building trades
- Ability to ambulate unassisted and lift up to 80 lbs
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
- Own vehicle
- Bilingual- Spanish/Haitian Creole
