Job Summary
Facility-wide responsibilities include operating, maintaining, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing building systems and equipment across corporate and subsidiary facilities, including data centers. Maintains records of drawings and documentation, monitors PC-based building automation controls, analyzes system performance to improve operation and reduce energy use, responds to maintenance work orders, performs basic repairs related to carpentry, roofing, walls, floors, doors, and office furniture, and provides technical support and construction oversight to Facilities Management staff and the data center operations. Requires strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure; 0-25% travel; 3+ years of related experience; High School Diploma/GED required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3 years of related, progressive experience in operation and maintenance of building systems in commercial facilities
- Experience in operation and maintenance of building systems (data centers preferred)
- Licenses or Certifications: None required (Journeyman/Master Plumber, Electrical License, Universal Refrigeration License preferred)
