Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns, then respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime. Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and maintain logs, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules. Complete general building tasks including painting, flooring repairs, and fixture replacement while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Travel to various locations for maintenance and service requests, including occasional overnight travel. Maintain outdoor areas, parking lots, and entrances in a clean and safe condition.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Desired Qualifications
- EPA Refrigerant Certification
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or maintenance-related certifications
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in restaurants, hospitality, food service, commercial facilities, or a related environment
- Experience with commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems
