Job Summary
Conduct building maintenance repairs including flooring, drywall, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, landscape, equipment, concrete, and roofing. Assist with warehouse operations by receiving, stocking, processing, and distributing materials while maintaining a neat and orderly environment. Perform miscellaneous tasks such as hanging bulletin boards, moving furniture, unclogging plumbing fixtures, and cleaning spills or waste. Sweep sidewalks and parking lots, pick up trash and debris across health center sites, and manage proper storage of tools and supplies. Travel between sites using a reliable vehicle with a valid California driver's license and required insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a reliable truck or utility van
- Must have a car
- Must have a valid California driver's license
- Must have proof of minimum levels of car insurance as required under California law
- An acceptable driving record is also required
- Must have a valid California driver's license within ten days of establishing residency
- Traveling between sites and other locations is required as an essential function of the job
- Must have experience in building repairs and maintenance
- Must be able to follow both written and oral instructions in English
- Must have basic computer literacy (i.e., use system to manage and schedule appointments, access electronic medical record information)
- Must have intermediate interpersonal and customer service skills
