Job Summary
Receives work order requests for facilities maintenance and serves as the point of contact for laboratory and office needs. Inspects and performs preventative maintenance or repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems, while coordinating outside vendors for basic repairs. Supports overall Facilities and EH&S duties by executing safety audits, equipment calibration, and emergency response team activities. Assists IT with desktop configuration during moves and maintains organized spreadsheets and documentation for accurate reporting. Responds to internal inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring timely problem resolution and adherence to safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or GED
- 2+ years of Facilities & Safety related experience
- Valid Driver's License and Proof of Insurance
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, including excel, word, and power point
- Good Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Adherence to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements
