Job Summary
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems while supporting building utilities and lab operations. Respond to work orders and facility alarms, maintain maintenance logs and CMMS documentation, and coordinate with outside vendors and service providers. Ensure smooth facility operations in GMP and laboratory environments. This long-term contract position offers $39/hr on W2 with medical, dental, vision, paid sick leave, and 401K benefits. Located in San Diego, CA, the role requires 4+ years of facilities maintenance experience, with biotech or GMP background preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of facilities maintenance experience
- Knowledge of HVAC, building utilities, and maintenance systems
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, GMP, or lab environments preferred
- Experience with CMMS/BMS systems such as Siemens Desigo preferred
