Job Summary
Conduct thorough cleaning of common areas, amenity spaces, restrooms, kitchens, and laundry facilities while maintaining high hygiene standards. Assist with new move-ins, perform basic maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs and minor plumbing repairs, and keep grounds, landscaping, and parking areas in good condition. Dispose of trash and recycling promptly, maintain inventory of supplies, and organize storerooms according to safety standards. Respond to resident requests, monitor properties for safety hazards, and report maintenance issues to management. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, wearing a company uniform, with physical requirements to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and proper use and storage of chemicals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents and property management team
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks, such as light bulb replacement and minor plumbing repairs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to wear company-provided uniform during working hours
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
