Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and repair on facility equipment and systems including ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and compressed air while maintaining regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections of fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, and dock equipment to identify potential issues, and assist in developing maintenance schedules using the MaintainX CMMS system. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs, support safety and compliance programs under OSHA regulations, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status. Collaborate with departments to ensure operational efficiency and assist in emergency preparedness planning.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in facilities maintenance, especially within the food and beverage sector or a manufacturing environment
- A solid understanding of OSHA regulations and facility management practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- The ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure facility and compliance objectives are met
- Familiarity with maintenance management tools and software
