Facilities Technician (All Shifts)

Job Summary
Perform routine inspections and periodic checks of facility and compounding equipment to identify potential issues and restore proper operation after troubleshooting malfunctions. Execute industrial electrical work, welding, soldering, brazing, and general repairs including plumbing and carpentry while operating shop and powered industrial equipment safely. Read blueprints, SOPs, and work instructions to complete maintenance tasks and accurately document all activities. Order parts and supplies as needed while adhering to FDA GMP, OSHA requirements, and company safety procedures. Work overtime and weekends to support production demands, maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with team members.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of facility maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage time effectively
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including SOPs and Work Instructions
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds manually
- Stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, crouch, push, and pull
- Reach with hands and arms and use hands to handle and feel
- Hear and communicate effectively
- Spend periods of time working at a computer
- Wear required PPE and uniform standards, including a hairnet, safety glasses, long pants, and steel-toe shoes/boots
- Work overtime and weekends as needed to support business and production demands
- Successful completion of a drug and/or alcohol test as a condition of employment
