Job Summary
Install, maintain, and service structural plumbing equipment, including water softeners, pumps, and restroom facilities. Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and pressure problems by reading blueprints and technical drawings. Clear drains and obstructions in water and sewer systems while performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Estimate time and materials for assigned jobs, maintain accurate records in the C.M.M.S. system, and respond to emergency calls. Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations during work in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2–3 years of plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and organizational skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Must be able to lift, carry and push tools, equipment and supplies weighing 50 pounds or more
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to use power and noise producing tools and equipment
- Must be able to drive motorized vehicles and heavy equipment
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions including wet, hot, and cold
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and possible on-call shifts
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk on level and slippery surfaces, reach, twist, turn, kneel, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, grasp and make repetitive hand movement
- Must have both near and far vision when inspecting work and operating assigned equipment
