Job Summary
Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving facility infrastructure and support systems within a manufacturing environment. Serves as the primary technical resource for HVAC, electrical distribution, compressed air systems, overhead cranes, building automation systems, and other critical utilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure; troubleshoot industrial electrical systems up to 480V including panels, transformers, motors, VFDs, lighting, and controls; maintain and service HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers, and refrigeration equipment; utilize CMMS to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and asset records; coordinate contractors and vendors while ensuring compliance with plant safety requirements; maintain OSHA, EPA, NFPA and company safety standards; support facility improvement projects, asset management, and capital planning initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid HVAC License or HVAC Journeyman Certification
- Valid Electrical License, Journeyman Electrician License, or equivalent certification
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum 5 years of industrial facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
