Job Summary
Lead role in collecting data from building electrical and mechanical systems, analyzing trend data to identify opportunities for improvement, and developing resolution plans for buildings, equipment, systems, processes and procedures. Make recommendations and implement improvements, prepare and present reports explaining options, impact and recommendations. Manage requests for services or goods related to buildings, equipment and systems, coordinate complex requests, provide general technical support and troubleshooting for facilities hardware, software, systems or processes, ensure configuration control of data and documents, perform problem resolution to support business operations, and define, design and plan projects, including coordinating and potentially leading project teams. This role focuses on enhancing site infrastructure systems with emphasis on Building Automation Systems (BAS), industrial environmental controls and lighting control systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and efficiency across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with building electrical and mechanical systems
- 3+ years of experience working in a facilities engineering/contractor role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- 3+ years of experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) (i.e. Trane, Honeywell, Andover, Schneider Electric and/or Johnson Controls Metasys)
- Ability to travel 20% domestically
