Job Summary
Coordinate day-to-day facilities operations across multiple sites by responding to maintenance requests, undertaking general maintenance tasks, and supporting site inspections. Manage logistics including deliveries, equipment movement, and fleet upkeep while assisting with event setup, pack down, and layout coordination. Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely resolution of works and projects. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and systems to support compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements. Guide facilities volunteers on site and assist with furniture, equipment, and layout requirements. This role requires flexibility for weekends, after-hours work, and major projects, with a full-time 38-hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, carpentry, logistics or another hands-on role
- Practical skills using hand and power tools and the ability to undertake general maintenance and handyman tasks
- Flexibility to support weekends, after-hours work and events is essential
- All BCF employees are required to have completed at least three (3) COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster doses approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)
- Applicants must have the right to work in Australia
- The successful candidate will also be required to complete a Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- The successful candidate will also be required to complete a National Police Check
