Facilities Support Services Lead

Job Summary
Lead the Facilities Support Services team at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, delivering environmental services, facilities, security, maintenance, and (where applicable) medical device reprocessing for the site/community. Manage and coach a client-centric team to meet provincial/regional standards and achieve KPIs; provide site leadership, liaison with region and Shared Health on capital and security projects, and ensure reliable, respectful health services through effective asset management and cross-functional coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in related discipline
- 5 years progressive management experience in healthcare
- 2 years coordinating support functions (maintenance logistics; technical, safety and fire safety training; human resource management)
- 2 years experience managing in a unionized environment
- Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate
- Valid Manitoba driver’s license and ability to travel within service area
- Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check

- Must be able to accompany staff to work at heights, within small spaces and to climb, reach, kneel, and squat to examine facilities related issues
