Job Summary

Lead the Facilities Support Services team at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, delivering environmental services, facilities, security, maintenance, and (where applicable) medical device reprocessing for the site/community. Manage and coach a client-centric team to meet provincial/regional standards and achieve KPIs; provide site leadership, liaison with region and Shared Health on capital and security projects, and ensure reliable, respectful health services through effective asset management and cross-functional coordination.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in related discipline
  • 5 years progressive management experience in healthcare
  • 2 years coordinating support functions (maintenance logistics; technical, safety and fire safety training; human resource management)
  • 2 years experience managing in a unionized environment
  • Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate
  • Valid Manitoba driver’s license and ability to travel within service area
  • Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to accompany staff to work at heights, within small spaces and to climb, reach, kneel, and squat to examine facilities related issues
