Job Summary
Coordinate day-to-day facilities operations across multiple sites, responding to maintenance requests and undertaking general handyman tasks. Manage logistics, fleet upkeep, and event setup while coordinating contractors, suppliers, and volunteers. Conduct site inspections to identify requirements and maintain accurate records ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety standards. This full-time role (38 hours per week) includes weekends and after-hours work to support major projects and events. You must have the right to work in Australia and complete a Working With Children Check.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, carpentry, logistics or another hands-on role
- Practical skills using hand and power tools and the ability to undertake general maintenance and handyman tasks
- Flexibility to support weekends, after-hours work and events is essential
- All BCF employees are required to have completed at least three (3) COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster doses approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)
- Applicants must have the right to work in Australia
- The successful candidate will also be required to complete a Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- The successful candidate will also be required to complete a National Police Check
