Job Summary
The Facilities Steward will ensure the cleaning, sanitation, and general upkeep of all interior and exterior buildings, surfaces, and furnishings at the Kroc Center Hawaii. Responsibilities include performing routine cleaning tasks, maintaining cleanliness in restrooms, fitness areas, and kitchen, assisting in setup and takedown for events, maintaining grounds, and conducting routine inspections for maintenance issues. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 6 months of janitorial and facilities maintenance experience, and a commitment to the mission of The Salvation Army.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 6 months of experience in janitorial methods
- At least 6 months of experience in facilities maintenance
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and insured transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of health and sanitation requirements
- Experience with green/sustainable cleaning products
