Job Summary
Manage complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion, serving as a technical lead for contractor selection and management to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to exact specifications. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and water quality equipment to prevent unscheduled downtime while responding to emergency repairs to minimize facility disruption. Provide technical direction to facilities staff for non-routine work, coordinate contract services and audits, and monitor project progress regarding quality, schedule, safety, and productivity. Evaluate contractors on these metrics and perform periodic reviews of EHS programs to identify and control risks, ensuring the facility remains compliant with all local, government, and NFPA 70e regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Three to six years of relevant experience
- GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a construction trade environment
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with NFPA 70e program for electrical safety in general
- Familiarity with best work practices
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems
- Ability to evaluate materials, gather and analyze data and determine root cause of problems
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and coordinate multiple, changing deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external customers
