Facilities Specialist

Job Summary
Maintain interior and exterior facilities by ensuring clear parking lots, managing snow removal, and performing minor construction or handyperson tasks. Execute custodial duties including trash removal, cleaning branches, and replacing light bulbs while monitoring building conditions daily for safety and security. Manage office supply inventory, complete room and equipment setup for meetings, and act as a courier transporting internal mail between branches. Assist in maintaining the Records Retention and Destruction program by partnering with third-party vendors to oversee shredding and storage. Perform other clerical and facilities duties as assigned by the AVP or VP of Facilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) education
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to function in an environment in which working conditions vary: noise, heat, dust, snow, ice
- Ability to lift boxes up to 60 lbs
- Strong service orientation in alignment with the credit union's mission and core values
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and produce an effective outcome
- Ability to use power tools safely and mount equipment or office supplies to walls
- Excellent verbal, reading comprehension and interpersonal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and the Internet to perform job-related tasks
- Excellent organizational ability and time management skills
- Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: postage machine, fax, copier, telephone, etc.
