Job Summary
Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment while monitoring building management systems. Conduct inspections of utility systems, buildings, and vehicles; operate landscape machinery and shop tools safely; and maintain inventory and work order requests through the CMMS program. Assist with purchasing parts and supplies and serve as the on-site contact for after-hours building emergencies. Requires an associate's degree, two years of related experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field
- Two years of related experience
- Valid driver's license or ability to obtain within 45 days of employment
- Knowledge of safety procedures within the facilities maintenance industry
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications, audio/visual systems
- Knowledge of basic building / facilities maintenance skills including but not limited to: electrical / lighting repair, plumbing, HVAC repair and preventive maintenance, carpentry, and general building repair
- Ability to maintain the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment system or water treatment system
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
- Must be able to promptly respond in person, on site, to after-hours building emergencies
