Facilities Specialist

Job Summary
Oversee building, grounds, and equipment maintenance to ensure a safe, functional work environment. Conduct routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping systems while coordinating preventive maintenance and emergency repairs with outside vendors. Manage relationships with contractors, negotiate service agreements, and schedule janitorial services to maintain cleanliness. Plan and execute facility renovations, upgrades, and improvement projects while monitoring maintenance costs and recommending process improvements. Collaborate with security personnel and building occupants to support daily operations and prepare facilities for changing weather conditions. Create reports on maintenance, safety, and repairs for supervisors and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Daily overtime required and in person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
- 3 year U.S. driving history
- acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy
- U.S. High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of on-the-job training from previous, related roles in a relative industry
- mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors, and team members
- Great time management, organization, and prioritization abilities
