Job Summary
Develop and maintain comprehensive space plans for all Blue Origin facilities, ensuring alignment with organizational growth and business needs. Manage end-to-end space planning projects from concept through occupancy, including scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder coordination. Conduct space utilization analysis to optimize existing footprint and partner with HR and business leaders to translate workforce plans into space requirements. Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and vendors to execute fit-out and renovation projects while maintaining accurate space data in CAFM/IWMS systems. Lead or support workplace strategy initiatives, including hybrid work programs, hoteling, and neighborhood planning, and manage move, add, and change requests. This role sits within Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across business unit teams, functions, and locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities space planning, workplace strategy, or project management
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site space planning or capital projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- experience with CAFM/IWMS platforms
- Strong understanding of workplace design standards, building systems, and construction processes
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting space utilization data and metrics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Ability to walk and inspect facilities, including construction sites
- Occasional travel to other Blue Origin sites as required
- May require flexible hours during critical project phases

- Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training
- Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related discipline
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or LEED accreditation
- Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or high-tech industries
- Familiarity with BOMA measurement standards
- Experience supporting large-scale campus master planning efforts
- Knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency best practices in facility design
