Job Summary
Set up and tear down rooms for worship services, meetings, and classes, including chairs, tables, risers, and staging. Reset spaces to standard layouts and assist with moving furniture and equipment. Clean and maintain all church buildings, vacuuming and dusting the worship center, sanitizing restrooms and children's areas, and emptying trash. Refill cleaning supplies and report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly. Work 20-30 hours per week across day, night, and weekend shifts with flexible scheduling based on ministry needs. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, pass a background check, and work independently while adhering to safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness and ability to work Sundays and holidays as required, as well as evenings and weekends based on ministry and event needs
- Ability to lift, move, and set up equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Alignment with the mission and values of the church
- Be able to interpret schedules and work duties
- Will need experience and knowledge using janitorial equipment and chemicals
- Ability to understand and read English
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Desire to serve others
- High school diploma or equivalent
- You must be authorized to work in the United States

- Previous custodial or facilities experience preferred but not required
