Facilities Services Technician I

Job Summary
Maintenance tasks across Physicians East properties as requested by work orders; assist Facilities Services Technician II or Facilities Services Manager; troubleshoot and repair various trades (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Flooring, etc.); perform routine inspections of Life Safety Equipment (Emergency and Egress lighting, Elevators, etc.); operate company-owned vehicles; assist in relocation or setup of offices and furniture; take after-hours calls for maintenance and Fire System emergencies; maintain valid North Carolina driver's license and clean driving record; operate computers, phones, and tablets; communicate effectively; all other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Must Live within 20 miles of Physicians East’s main campus on Arlington Blvd.
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
- Knowledge in general maintenance in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, flooring, etc
- Comprehend and comply with all HIPPA, OHSA, and other local, state, and federal guidelines pertaining to the operations of medical facilities.
