Facilities Services Technician

Job Summary
Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of all outdoor areas throughout the HBI plant site by performing routine grounds maintenance, vegetation control, and litter removal. Operate and maintain equipment including mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and utility vehicles while adhering to all safety and environmental policies. Inspect grounds for unsafe conditions, report issues to the Facilities Supervisor, and support seasonal activities such as storm preparation and recovery. Enter work updates into reporting systems and assist contractors on company property. Requires a valid driver's license, TWIC card, and ability to lift 50 pounds in a physically demanding environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Valid Driver's License
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid TWIC card
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or related field
- Experience operating groundskeeping and landscaping equipment
- Basic knowledge of landscaping practices, vegetation management, and irrigation systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, physically demanding industrial environment
