Job Summary
Facilities Security Officer (FSO) needed to direct and manage SAP and Collateral program operations, handling personnel security, physical security, document control, visitor control, and employee security training. Responsibilities include administering e-QIP, DISS, NISS, OBMS/EMASS databases; conducting security briefings and training; overseeing office security for Collateral, SCI, and SAP programs; maintaining facility clearance; managing visitor control; investigating security incidents; handling classified materials and secure transmission; self-inspections, IP reviews, and DSS assessments; and preparing DD Form 254s with flow-down security requirements. Requires active TS clearance, SCI eligibility, DoD FSO training completion within one month, and extensive experience with NISPOM and DoD security processes. This is a full-time, in-person role located in Arlington, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years’ related as an FSO or security specialist
- Must have active TS clearance and be SCI Eligible at time of appointment
- Successful completion of DOD FSO training courses within one month of employment
- Experience in industrial security and knowledge of the NISPOM
- Experience with DoD community and government clearance process
- Experience with NISS, DISS, and E-QIP; personnel security, document and visitor control; SCI and/or SAP environments
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work under pressure; teamwork and conflict/m crisis management abilities
