Job Summary
Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs and perform hands-on repairs including snow removal, drywall work, painting, and basic electrical or plumbing tasks. Respond immediately to facility issues, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate contractors for specialized projects while maintaining tools and preventative schedules. Travel between sites to ensure consistent care across all ministry properties and support ongoing renovations and expansions. Address tenant requests promptly to minimize disruption to programming. Maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment that aligns with the organization's mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of hands-on building maintenance or facilities experience
- Strong working knowledge of: Basic electrical
- Strong working knowledge of: Plumbing
- Strong working knowledge of: Carpentry / finishing work
- Ability and willingness to perform physical, daily maintenance work
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues independently
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to take and complete assigned training
Desired Qualifications
- Experience across multiple buildings or a growing facility portfolio
- Experience supporting renovation or construction projects
- Familiarity with commercial, residential, or mixed-use properties
- Trade certification or relevant technical training
