Job Summary
Facilities Project Specialist responsibilities include providing multi-level support to the Facilities Project Management Organization, delivering project management services for assigned Facilities Service Requests (FSRs), coordinating activities of junior project specialists, supporting SRM system development and workflow, creating and tracking purchase requisitions, maintaining Operations and Project Support services, developing presentations for meetings, supporting project closures including financial closures, mentoring junior specialists, and performing other management-directed duties. Key skills include cross-department collaboration, strong organizational and communication abilities, proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), SRM and SAP, purchasing experience, presentation development, and the ability to manage documentation and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree with 6+ years of industry experience or 9+ years of industry experience
- Experience interfacing with members of various departments
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SRM, SAP
- Experience with purchase orders
- Experience in financial closure and reporting
- Experience in document control processes and related services
- Experience in developing presentations and related materials
- Ability to present to members of various departments within an organization
