Facilities Project Manager – Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
Develop engineering scope of work, prepare bid documents, select vendors, secure funding, and manage in-field project execution while maintaining budget, schedule, and documentation for the Groton shipyard's 110-year-old facilities and new construction projects. Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting support for electrical distribution systems up to 35KV, including substations, switch-gears, transformers, and underground duct banks, while interfacing with local city building officials and Naval oversight. Apply knowledge of submarine shore power requirements and state/local building codes to design and execute infrastructure construction projects across existing and new sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of post graduate experience in electrical engineering
- Candidate must be self-motivating
- Able to work independently
- Possess good written and oral communications skills
- Maintain a questioning attitude
